I'm sure some people are going to be offended by this but I think this is absurd.

As an end of the season note, and getting ready for the following season I just wanted to inform you that most rabbis allow you to photograph during the service from the back without flash and some with flash. Especially when you're not inside a temple. Like a club or banquet hall.

that does not allow any photographs at all!!! You will have no memories at all! Your child had worked very hard for this and for this to happen , is just ridiculous in a society that th mitzvah is more than just a sacred reading of Torah it's about rejoicing and accomplishing what you set your mind too.

For us to capture your child's event while guest to use their cell phones to take photos that Ring and make noises to me is hypocritical and just wrong and in my opinion we should hire Rabbi's especially ones that allow us, which in today's society is most. I can name numerous rabbis.

I'll be more then and happy to help you find a rabbi in the area that will allow photographs to capture your event.

The fact that we're not allowed to preserve your child's memory because they feel it's a distraction

"Temple Shirat Shalom "

Please make sure you know this before you hire a rabbi and Cantor like the one above

I definitely feel my photographs are less distracting then numerous other obstacles like kids talking playing on their phones joking cell phones going off, people getting up to leave room and go to restroom every 5 min and guest coming in late every 10 min

I've been shooting photography for 31 years and for my last mitzvah of this season for this to happen at all places a restaurant!!!

Attention bar mitzvah moms!!!!!!!
