Just viewed the film, Valentino - The Last Emperor at the Allentown Art Museum. Very entertaining. Funny, extraordinarily beautiful & inspirational!
First visit. Surprised and delighted. Excellent collection and presentation from pre-Renaissance to present. Harry Bertoia's sonic sculpture exhibit, Reverberations, is amazing and mesmerizing. Well worth the trip.
Today was my first time visiting the museum. It was absolutely amazing, i'm so happy i was able to see some of my favorite artists there, including frank lloyd wright and louise nevelson. so close to home which is also a plus! really nice galleries too, would definitely go again.
Great exhibits. The children's room was especially nice. There are art events every Sunday and Thursday.
