The staff was nice. But, the lamps in the room were not working for the exception of 1. And one lamp didn't even have bulbs on it. The room as infested with cockroaches and I had to kill several with my shoe. Some I had to kill on the wall so their dead bodies were left hanging throughout my stay. This place needs to be demolished and rebuilt.

I wouldn't stay any other place. I live in central Mass., and the only reason I've come to Allentown is for the record convention, which is in close walking distance tat the Merchants Antique Mall.

great location, tucked away out of the chaos of the city, yet still close enough to get to wherever i need to be quickly! Very personable staff, which were kind, helping, and caring. the room itself was very nice and well kept, my only complaint was that thecable programming on the television was lousy. which i know is not the fault of the hotel staff/management, so over all i enjoyed everything about my stay.

I wouldn't give this even 1 star. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The only thing good I can say was the ac worked. Train came by every hour to half hour. On top of it being bad they price gouged. Paid $200. Choice Hotels should drop them. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I wish I can give these mfers a NEGATIVE STAR...... That place is disgusting and have the nerve to be priced that high. Smh I'm actually searching websites to report this hotel for health code violations. That's how unsanitary it is. No exaggeration. After I canceled my reservations I clearly understood why Damn near all hotels within the allentown area were booked except for the rodeway inn. They knew how disgusting this place was. I'm glad I paid extra for another hotel at the last minute. WHOEVER READING THESE REVIEWS DO NOT, REPEAT, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HOTEL.

The place has always been clean enough for my needs, and it's great to have a fridge and a microwave- not bad for $44 a night. The place is no more noisy than any other motel filled up with adults on a rainy Saturday night! The trains don't bother me, the noise adds to the atmosphere. The biggest problem is trying to get a cab in Allentown.
